Naima is a modern startup born from a simple but powerful idea: to make healthy treats that not only taste amazing but are also truly good for your body—especially your gut. Founded in 2020 in the kitchen of Sophie Jahn, Naima started as a passion project with a clear mission: to make delicious fika moments accessible to everyone, without compromising on health.

From its beginnings, Naima has grown into a brand that champions more than just raw, plant-based snacks. It stands for a lifestyle—one that is bold, brave, and supportive. Naima is here to challenge outdated norms about "healthy eating" by proving that indulgence and wellness can go hand in hand. The vision is not just to offer better-for-you sweets, but to build a community where people can connect over their shared love for feel-good food and conscious living.

If Naima were a person, she’d be that confident, grounded woman who walks into the room with energy and purpose. She’s bold, brave, and always lifts others up. Naima is more than a brand—it’s a movement for gut-friendly enjoyment, mindful choices, and fearless living.

About naima

What did i do?

I assisted Naima with their social media presence by contributing to several key areas. This included writing and designing newsletters in Mailchimp, as well as scheduling and publishing them. I also recorded and edited promotional and informational videos tailored to their audience. Additionally, I helped optimize their use of platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn by creating engaging content, planning posts, and ensuring consistent branding across channels.

I also played a key role in organizing events — one example being our participation in the Tech Arena, where we had our own stand and handed out Naima Bites. Leading up to the event, our focus was on visibility and engagement. I wanted to spark curiosity, so I leaned into the concept of “Who is Naima?” — a deliberately open-ended question meant to provoke interest and interpretation.

To create intrigue around the event, I used AI tools to generate striking visuals. One of the key images we used featured lion’s mane — an anti-inflammatory mushroom known for its health benefits and one of the signature ingredients in Naima’s fika bites. The image also portrayed a confident woman, embodying the values Naima represents: self-assurance and courage.

To further strengthen our presence, I regularly created interactive quizzes where participants could win a “Naima Box.” I also designed eye-catching posters with QR codes linking directly to Naima’s Instagram page, helping to drive online engagement both during and after the event.
